The vet has a pet. It is a hen.
The vet is not home. He works in the farm.
Hen misses him very much.
She goes to see him. On her way she sees dog.
“Dog, dog! Let’s go and see the vet,” she says.
Two animals go to see the vet. On their way they see cat,
“Cat, cat, let’s go and see the vet.” they say.

Kukana has three sisters and a brother. She is the youngest in her family.
One day Kukana’s family went for a picnic. Ritaeti looked sad. Kukana asked, ‘Is Ritaeti sick? What can we do to make him happy?’
Mwakin wanted to make Ritaeti happy. She took him for a walk in the bush, to meet the birds. But that did not make him happy.

On the northern end of an island, there lived Narerewa with his wife. The couple had ten young children. On the southern end of that same island, lived a group of skulls. Although they could only move around by rolling, these skulls were man eaters.
One early evening, Narerewa went fishing on the reef. Before he went, he prepared the things he would need such as a basket for his catch, some local torches, hoop net, hat and his knife. After saying goodbye - Narerewa went off.
