“What if my best friend finds out?” I asked him.
“No, she’ll never find out about us. We will keep this a secret.” he replied.
Well, I cheated on my best friend. Her boyfriend and I had been dating for the past few days and she didn’t know about us. My best friend’s name was Temaua and her boyfriend’s name was Johnny. He was so handsome. He had brown eyes with fair skin, thin and pink lips. Well, he had been Temaua’s boyfriend but strange that I loved him and didn’t know that he loved me too.
Then one day, he told me how he felt about me. I couldn’t believe it because I had a feeling for him too. I was on cloud nine so I told him that I had the same feeling for him too. We began dating from that day.
Later, I said to him,”What about my best friend?” I was quiet for some time and then continued,”She loves you too!”
He replied,”But I don’t love her. I love you and I will follow what I feel about you.” I looked so sad because I felt it was a pity cheating and hiding from my friend. I and Johnny ate and chatted together on a good, quiet, green place. After that he brought me back to my home.
The next morning, I went to school and there I saw my friend but I didn’t want to look at her because I felt quilty of what I was doing. She called me but I pretended not to hear anything and I just ran to the toilet and cried because I thought I was bad. She was so kind to me but all that I did was cheating on her.
Then I decided to break up with Johnny. When he came again to fetch me to go on another date, I refused and told him that our relationship should stop. He said that he didn’t want it to stop but I turned away and went back into my house. I didn’t want to cry for I knew that I was wrong.
After that incident, Johnny never talked to me nor looked at me. That was when we got separated and he went back to my best friend again.
